Hi, I’m Katie — founder, buyer, stylist, interior designer, creative doodler, packer of parcels and the woman behind Clifford’s Corner.
My route here hasn’t been the most obvious one. Before Clifford’s Corner, I was a solicitor but interiors had always been the thing I truly loved. I’ve always been happiest rearranging a room, finding the perfect piece for an empty corner or experimenting with different colours to see if I can transform the way a room feels.
Eventually, that love of interiors became something I couldn’t ignore, and Clifford’s Corner was born.
So, why Clifford’s Corner?
The name is actually very personal to me. Clifford was my grandparents’ surname, and naming the business after them felt like a lovely way to keep a little piece of my family at the heart of something I was building for myself.
Family is still very much at the heart of the business today. I have two young children, and one of the things I value most about Clifford’s Corner is that it gives me the flexibility to build a business I love while still being there for school drop-offs, pick-ups and all the everyday moments in between.
The business is quite literally a home-grown one, too. I run Clifford’s Corner from the comfort (and occasional chaos!) of my own home in Hereford. Products are chosen, ideas are dreamed up, content is created and your orders begin their journey here. Very soon, Clifford’s Corner will be getting a little corner of its own, with a home office in the garden. I can’t wait to take you along for that journey.
A home should feel like you
I started Clifford’s Corner because I believe you don’t need a huge budget or a perfect house to create a home that makes you happy.
The homes I love most are the ones that feel collected rather than coordinated. A mixture of old and new. Neutrals alongside joyful colour. Stripes, florals and texture. Things you’ve had forever sitting next to something you fell in love with last week.
Homes should tell the story of the people who live in them.
I carefully select pieces that I genuinely love and would be happy to have in my own home. You’ll find vintage-inspired pieces, timeless neutrals, joyful colour, stripes, florals and plenty of texture, alongside my own artwork and those little finishing touches that can make an ordinary corner suddenly feel special.

More than anything, I want Clifford’s Corner to feel personal.
Through my interior styling ideas, inspiration and advice, I hope I can encourage you to experiment a little, introduce that colour you weren’t quite sure about, mix old with new and, most importantly, trust your own taste.
I want to help you create a home that feels like your family lives there, rather than one that looks as though nobody does.
